Kish Melwani

Kish founded ServiceByte in 2011 after more than a decade working in information technology systems and services.

Raised in New York City, Kish developed a passion for technology early on, when, at the age of 11, he single-handedly fixed the family’s computer that had inexplicably locked up while he was playing on it. Kish was immediately drawn in by the problem-solving challenges and rewards from solving the puzzles.

While attending the City College of New York, from which he graduated with a degree in economics, he took a job with a small Westchester company that brought him in as a computer repair technician. The job simultaneously helped him pay for school and launch his career. He remained with them until venturing out on his own to establish ServiceByte.

Kish currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Hudson Valley Chamber of Commerce. Kish lives in Westchester County with his wife and two children.
